Case: s/n; 10521, 18k white gold, rectangular stepped with hooded lugs, hallmark is a key with number 26 which refers to the case maker Ponti, Gennari & Cie, Geneve.
Dial: silvered dial, signed "Niton, Geneve", jump hour aperture, minute disk and subdial seconds
Movement: s/n; 6647, 10''' tonneau, 18 jewels, all adj, Geneva seal. The movement obtained the Poincon de Geneve quality seals on October 25, 1930 and was part of a batch of 6 (6646-6651)

C. massive, polished, hinged back, stepped sides, hooded lugs. D. mat silver, with painted Arabic numerals, at the centre, revolving disc for the minutes + auxiliary seconds dial, aperture for the jumping-hours. M. 9"' tonneau, rhodiumed, 18 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted to 8 positions, Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Dim. 24x37 mm. C. massive, polished, hinged back, stepped sides, hooded lugs. D. mat silver, with painted Arabic numerals, at the centre, revolving disc for the minutes + auxiliary seconds dial, aperture for the jumping-hours.

Äußerst seltene Art Deco Armbanduhr von Niton. Zu dieser Uhr liegt ein
Schreiben der Nachfolgefirma Sarcar vor, in dem erwähnt wird, daß die
Firma Niton flache, komplizierte Formwerke produzierte und u. a. für
die Firma Patek Philippe. Vacheron & Constantin sowie Gübelin lieferte.
Wir zitieren: „Wir mußten kürzlich eine Formuhr Patek Philippe mit Ka
lendarium untersuchen. Das Werk dieser Uhr ist als Niton Fabrikation
No. 5094 signiert. Das Werk Ihrer Uhr ist bis auf die unterzifferblattseitige
Kadratur baugleich . . ."
Niton Geneve, case no. 10521, movement no. 6647, jumping
hour Art Deco white gold wrist watch, about 1030. Stepped
18 k hinged case with screwed lugs. Silvered 3-part regulator
type dial with jumping hour window at „12". Center minute
hand disc, small seconds. Art Deco geometrical corner
decoration. Very fine form lever movement signed Niton
Geneve, 18 jewels, 8 adjustments. Geneva quality seal, lever
and escape wheel in ruby endstones, bimetallic compensation
balance, Breguet spiral spring. 18 k buckle
A letter by the Niton successor Sarcar S.A. is certifying the originality,
rarity and quality of the watch. The letter also says, that this watch no.
6647 beside the workmanship under the dial identical to the 5049 a rectangular
calendar moonphase watch sold to Patek Philippe in 1928.
