According to the Patek Philippe archive (January 29, 2004) this Tutti-Frutti wristwatch was sold on June 30th, 1930, the movement was sold without case (to the USA, Ohio). Movement and case number are similar (823158).
Henry Robert Wemmer (1906-1933) was the son of Henry George Wemmer (1865-1940) and Frederika “Rica” Sauter Wemmer (1870-1937). His father, Henry George Wemmer was the youngest of 13 children and was trained as a confectioner in Germany before coming to the United States in 1884, sailing from Hamberg, Germany. From 1884 until 1889 he lived in Delaware, OH and owned a candy company before moving to Lima, OH and starting the Deisel Wemmer Company with his brother William and friend Henry Deisel. In addition to Deisel Wemmer, he was an original stockholder of The Lima News when it was reorganized in 1909 and was a director until 1929. Because of his foresight on the inevitability of increased taxes, he set up a family trust to avoid the Gift Tax law before it became operative. He, along with seven others, privately supplied the funds to operate the Lima Relief or Welfare Society before the government took over. He also saved the Allen County Building and Loan Assoc. and helped build it's new building. He was a stockholder in the Western Ohio Traction Line from Lima to Fostoria, OH. Henry became a naturalized citizen of the U.S. on 14 Oct 1889. He had three children - Esther, Pauline and Henry as well as many grandghildren. he also had one daughter, Edna, who died as a child. He was married once before Fredericka and had a child named Clifton. Clifton was married, but it is not known if Clifton had children.

Anne Wemmer Collins of Eureka passed away on Tuesday, Oct 29th at the age of 82. Anne Laughlin Wemmer was born in Lima Ohio on September 30, 1931, the only child of Henry R. Wemmer and Martha Laughlin Wemmer. Her father died of a burst appendix when Anne was 2 years old and her mother never remarried.
